April 8th, 2014 two deceased Pope’s (Blessed  John XXIII and Blessed John Paul  II) will become Canonize Saints.

If you are not familiar with the process of Canonization, you might ask how someone becomes a Saint. Or isn’t everyone in heaven a saint?

Yes everyone in heaven is a saint because saint means holy. But how do you know if they are in heaven? The quick answer is someone’s prayers on earth for a miracle are answered by a saint in heaven. The Canonization process is how the Catholic Church determines if a saintly person has truly answered the prayer through an authentic miracle. Please read my posts on the “How to Become a Saint”, “What is a Miracle?” or “Canonization, the Process of Sainthood”.
